The best place to start is a consultation. Greater Writing offers one free consultation to every new client.

Consultations help your tutor assess each students' unique needs and tailor each session to meet those needs. Each consultation is 30 minutes. During that time, your tutor will discuss with you the results of any screenings and his/her analysis of the student's needs. This step helps our tutors meet every child where they are.

To meet the needs of working families, all sessions are fully remote. We do not currently have plans to offer in-person sessions, but will update our site if that changes.

All fees paid to Greater Writing Tutoring Services are transferable, but not refundable. Should you need to reschedule your session, we simply ask that you give your tutor 72 hours notice. We understand that emergencies happen and 72 hours may not be possible, so we encourage all clients to contact the tutor directly if they need to reschedule. Clients will 14 days to rebook their session using their account credit.
